Wander around the Old Quarter

It is one of the perfect places to start a trip in this delightful country. As the city center, it is also a UNESCO world heritage site. You will find tree lined cobbed streets and lush parks and gardens. Those were once an ancient fortification destroyed in 1883. Notre Dame Cathedral

It is a cathedral built in the 17th century by the Jesuit priests. The North Gate has a baroque style and is covered with glass stained from the 19^th and 20^th centuries.

The National Museum of History and Art is located in the Fish Market part of the old town center.

Place Guillaume

It is a spacious open area that used to be the location of a Franciscan convent.

Palais Grand- ducal

It is the official residence of the Grand Duke and royal family of Luxembourg. It has one of the most beautiful architecture in Luxembourg City. I was huilt in the 16^th century. The style has romantic touches and medieval and gothic designs.

Echternach

Echternach is located on the side of River Sûre which   also has a border with Germany.

The town is famous for its festivals such as an international music festival that happens from May to June as well as a dancing procession that has been held here for centuries on Whit Tuesday.

Berdorf
